The Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) credential confirms your expertise and brings greater recognition from physicians, executives, industry professionals and peers. Board certification through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE)* is based on a body of knowledge specific to medical practice management and is the only board certification in medical practice management.
The Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management encompasses a broad spectrum of information about the profession. It defines the unique knowledge and skill set for the medical practice management executive.
The role of a medical practice management professional is decidedly dynamic. Changes in the healthcare industry, healthcare legislation, technological leaps in information management and many other factors contribute to the constant evolution of the profession. Every book that’s written, every article published, every change in legislation - they all add to the Body of Knowledge.
Quite simply, the Body of Knowledge is the authoritative guide to managing a successful medical group practice. Click the link above to view the six learning domains for medical practice management.
